FreeWheelin' is the magazine of the Southern Bicycle League. FreeWheelin' was started as a club newsletter for the Southern Bicycle League in 1970 and carried the name The Derailleur. In 1973, the newsletter format was replaced by the now familar magazine format of  FreeWheelin'. FreeWheelin' has undergone a number of evolutions over the years and has lately grown bigger and more informative and more exciting. We offer articles and information about the riding community and help the SBL support bike-friendly neighborhoods, legislation and support. Another popular feature is our monthly ride calendar which lists rides of all types for all types of riders. We are here to support our regional cycling community!

We've now launched our very first FreeWheelin' website to operate in tandem with the original SBL website - www.bikeSBL.org. The FreeWheelin' site will offer expanded coverage found in the magazine, important and/or informative links, pictures, articles and lots more.
